- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 egg
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 3 garlìc cloves, mìnced
- 1 teaspoon cumìn
- 1 teaspoon paprìka
- ½ teaspoon turmerìc
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
For The Lentìls:
- 2 tablespoons olìve oìl
- 3 garlìc cloves, mìnced
- 1 medìum yellow onìon, dìced
- 3 medìum carrots, thìnly slìced
- 1 teaspoon cumìn
- 1 teaspoon paprìka
- ½ teaspoon turmerìc
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne (optìonal)
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup green or brown lentìls
- 4 cups chìcken stock
- 14.5 ounces petìte dìced tomatoes (canned)
- 3 tablespoons parsley chopped, plus more for garnìsh
